Happy Easter

easter 025
The gorgeous tulips my mother-in-law gave me.  Thank you C for all you do for me and my family.
My contribution to the family Easter dinner hosted at my brother/sister-in-law’s home, was homemade dinner rolls.
easter 018
Here is all I allowed myself to take home after we all divvied up the leftovers.  (Only two on account of my “Cruise Diet”)
The rolls were oh-so-good much to my nervous doubt.  I had never, and I mean never, before made dinner rolls fresh from scratch. The whole yeast, and rising twice totally intimidated me.  But my friend’s food blog http://www.ourbestbites.com/ promised this recipe to be the world’s best dinner rolls. And I would have to agree. I ate four…at least that’s when I stopped counting.
Tomorrow I’m back to the diet…after I eat the remaining two rolls for breakfast.  ;)

There are enough women who are rude; we need women who are refined. We have enough women of fame and fortune; we need more women of faith. We have enough greed; we need more goodness. We have enough vanity; we need more virtue. We have enough popularity; we need more purity. "
