Happy Easter

easter 025
The gorgeous tulips my mother-in-law gave me.  Thank you C for all you do for me and my family.
My contribution to the family Easter dinner hosted at my brother/sister-in-law’s home, was homemade dinner rolls.
easter 018
Here is all I allowed myself to take home after we all divvied up the leftovers.  (Only two on account of my “Cruise Diet”)
The rolls were oh-so-good much to my nervous doubt.  I had never, and I mean never, before made dinner rolls fresh from scratch. The whole yeast, and rising twice totally intimidated me.  But my friend’s food blog promised this recipe to be the world’s best dinner rolls. And I would have to agree. I ate four…at least that’s when I stopped counting.
Tomorrow I’m back to the diet…after I eat the remaining two rolls for breakfast.  ;)

There are enough women who are rude; we need women who are refined. We have enough women of fame and fortune; we need more women of faith. We have enough greed; we need more goodness. We have enough vanity; we need more virtue. We have enough popularity; we need more purity. "
