Just wait 10 minutes

There is this old saying, apparently, that goes: “If you don’t like the weather, just wait…(fill in with a short time frame).” Here in Texas we like to say, “If you don’t like the weather, just wait ten minutes.” I didn’t hear this phrase growing up in Cali. The phrase for Cali should be: “If you don’t like the weather…you’re crazy!”

But here in Texas it really is true. I’ve seen the weather turn so quickly!  For instance today. Today started off as a flip flop weather day, but by 10 am the clouds, thunder and rain rolled in. So I switched out the flippies for boots. Then around 2 pm the skies parted and it was blue skies once again, so the flip flops were back on. Now, if only my hair could recover just quickly.  I think I’ve figured out why they say what they do about big Texas hair ;) Thank goodness for hats!
