It’s a Saturday (mommy by day/wife by night)

Because it was a typical, busy, family Saturday, and I had about 76 different things to do, I needed an outfit that could work by day and by night, since it was date night.

day twelve outfit

So by day it was the typical mommy uniform—jeans, shirt, flats (my gold ones), and a simple pony.  That got me through a Basketball game for my 6 y/o where he scored EIGHT points. Straight from the game we came home for a quick second before it was off to the babysitters. Just enough time to sass it up a bit for date night with a change of shoes, pulled on the jacket, slipped on the necklace and headband. I was ready for chips and salsa at one of our favorite restaurants with a Hot Tamale ;)

Outfit Particulars: Shoes, Kohl’s; CK Jeans, Costco; Shirt, Walmart; Jacket, Wet Seal; Necklace, New York & Co; Headband, CVS.

how many hours long is your date? My dates with Joel last about four hours and that's about three too many hours for me to endure wearing high heel shoes. How did your feet feel after your date?

There are enough women who are rude; we need women who are refined. We have enough women of fame and fortune; we need more women of faith. We have enough greed; we need more goodness. We have enough vanity; we need more virtue. We have enough popularity; we need more purity. "
