I intended to read while on holiday

Just a few more days and Mommy’s vacation begins the Winter Break is over and kids (and hubby) go back to school (or work.) Maybe then I can finally finish this…

004

I’ve been trying to read this book the past two weeks but by the time I get on my bed to relax and indulge in some brain candy, my lap top distracts me, or my eyes refuse to stay open. Tonight I’m going to read it…I Am!

This is me sitting down to read it, but then that dang lap top back there beckoned me and here I am telling you all about it.

So I am going to read it now…in a second. Real quick—this is the authors second series. I enjoyed the journey of her first, The Luxe. It is Young Adult, Historical Fiction, with high fashion, romance, mystery and intrigue.  Check more about The Luxe and the other books in that series here.

My sister Heather is probably finishing the last page of it as I type. It is also the book for my book club this month. So, if you’d like, pick up a copy for yourself and let me know what you think.

Okay, I’m going to go read it now.

There are enough women who are rude; we need women who are refined. We have enough women of fame and fortune; we need more women of faith. We have enough greed; we need more goodness. We have enough vanity; we need more virtue. We have enough popularity; we need more purity. "
