6. Writing

IMG_1650

When I used to get paid (with real life dollars—a good amount of them!) for writing. Now I get “paid” in comments (and not very many of them) and personal satisfaction (which I guess is priceless) for writing my own blog. However, there is just something special about seeing your “byline” in print, and to know that as a published writer your work is still floating out there in the world wide web.

P.S. Your comments do mean a lot to me :)

You are such a good writer. Your emotions and whit show through in your words. Keep it up :)
Did I spell "whit" right?...I dunno. That's one reason why I'm not a writer.

I know how you feel about comments. I wish more people would comment on my blog but that would require me to do more blog posts too.

I just found your blog through your sister Melody - we're blog friends & I must say, I love your blog! I tend to get in the habit of reading blogs, enjoying them, but never commenting (which doesn't make sense because I love comments on my blog). Anyway, I just wanted to let you know I've enjoyed reading your blog! :)

"Women of God can never be like women of the world. The world has enough women who are tough; we need women who are tender. There are enough women who are coarse; we need women who are kind. There are enough women who are rude; we need women who are refined. We have enough women of fame and fortune; we need more women of faith. We have enough greed; we need more goodness. We have enough vanity; we need more virtue. We have enough popularity; we need more purity. "
