The afterparty

My after-birthday went as follows…

IMG_1123

Cinnamon rolls for breakfast…the last two.

IMG_1126

Chocolate covered strawberries for snack.

IMG_1129

Chocolate raspberry truffle mousse cake for lunch.

IMG_1131

Funeral Birthday Potatoes for Dinner.

With a brownie for dessert ;)

It was my afterparty, I can eat like crap if I want to. I am on the downhill slope anyway now. In mourning of the 35 and under category, I had my husband and I wear all black on our Birthday Dinner date.

And then I bathed in entire bowl of Lobster Bisque.

Not really. Sadly the bowl was not big enough. But I’m pretty sure this is what soup in heaven tastes like.

To finish the birthday date, we got frozen custard. I ordered the “Death by Chocolate”—it seemed appropriate. (It was devoured before a photo was taken).

One last look before turning one year older.

*Note: The rest of the family ate three square meals with non-chocolate covered fruit for snacks.

Sounds like my kind of day---chocolate all day! Sounds like you had a good day and creative as well.

Oh. My. Goodness. That is a lot of sweets. I think you must have consumed more sugar in that one day than I have had in the past three months. But it was your birthday (and mothers day too) so it's all good.
