Maui Day One {2011}

Because of Sean’s extremely generous and vacation loving parents, all of the Connelly family was treated to a week long Maui vacation at the most beautiful resort I’ve seen. Each family had their own huge room, with living room and bedroom, kitchen, balcony, a bathroom bigger then my first dorm room, and two flat screen TVs. It was deluxe!
On our first day in Maui we arrived at our gorgeous hotel and settled into our rooms  just in time to get our suits on and enjoy a late afternoon/sunset swim in the perfect water.
Could there be anything better then the joy of running from waves with your cousins?
Maybe to do it as the sun sets! First Sunset we saw. For the next six days I stood on the beach at each one and watched it fade away. Pure therapy.

Our first family (minus one) photo in Maui.
So grateful to be on this beautiful island with family we love and looking forward to the days ahead of heaven.

What a beautiful family. I like that picture of you with the sunset behind.

"Women of God can never be like women of the world. The world has enough women who are tough; we need women who are tender. There are enough women who are coarse; we need women who are kind. There are enough women who are rude; we need women who are refined. We have enough women of fame and fortune; we need more women of faith. We have enough greed; we need more goodness. We have enough vanity; we need more virtue. We have enough popularity; we need more purity. "
