Smells like Summer

My latest thing that makes me happy.

(Sorry—I opened the package, and then as an afterthought I decided to snap a photo to share.)

It’s a car fragrance flip-flop. I love it! Perfect for Summer. Plus, it smells like Summer!

Technically it is an Odor Eliminator Scented Sandal in Tahitian Vanilla. For me, it’s a whiff of sun, tan, and pina colada’s. Much better then the alternative whiff.

Let’s be frank.

I drive a minivan with three boys.

It often smells of sweat, dirt, stinky feet and mysteriously fermenting milk—which sends me on a quest to find the putrid source—which usually is a forgotten sippy cup of chocolate milk wedged under a seat. Yah, gross.  

So, when I found this cute, fragranced treasure on a random stroll through Walmart, I was thrilled. You know those trips? Somehow you end up there, with no real purpose but an hour to kill, so you begin walking down every aisle just to see what it has to offer. This really only happens to me in Walmart. Were I in Target that hour would quickly be eaten up in the clothes, shoes, housewares, or seasonal section. But somehow in Walmart I end up in the automotive section next to Armoral and Smelly Tiny Sandals.

FYI—They also had a pink one that smelled like Tropical Passion…and in case you can’t particularly pinpoint the fragrance of passion in the tropics, it’s fruity. Apparently.
