My husband and I “gave talks” in church on this Sunday (last Sunday).

{For those not of the LDS Religion, it’s like giving a short 15-20 minute sermon in front of the congregation on one specific topic.}

The topic or principle we spoke on was “Trust in God, then Go and Do.”  It was such a good subject to speak about and I felt comfortable speaking on it especially because of the personal experiences we’ve had in really trusting in the Lord over the past year.  One of the quotes I used in the talk comes from Henry B. Eyring:

“You show your trust in Him when you listen with the intent to learn and repent and then you go and do whatever He asks. And if you then go and do what He would have you do, your power to trust Him will grow, and in time you will be overwhelmed with gratitude to find that He has come to trust you.”

This outfit is so flirtatious. Your hair looks super pretty too. I really do have to get me some of those shoes!

There are enough women who are rude; we need women who are refined. We have enough women of fame and fortune; we need more women of faith. We have enough greed; we need more goodness. We have enough vanity; we need more virtue. We have enough popularity; we need more purity. "
