Rylan in Preschool

Rylan started his first day of Preschool today. He was beaming with excitement. He felt so big and important. He hung up his back-pack, took a seat as his table, folded his arms as he patiently waited for his supplies, and within minutes was chatting to the class. I think he is going to love it. He is there until 2:00 so it will be interesting to see what he thinks of being gone that long from home. I’m sure it won’t even phase him.

By his back-pack spot. This is his “I’m so excited, but a little bit nervous,” face.

Saying good-bye to Daddy.

At his table spot, scoping out the classmates.

When I left the room and said good-bye to him, he didn’t even notice—he was already in preschool mode, totally over being with Mommy.

Wow, what a big boy you are Rylan. I'm sure you will do great things this year in preschool. Olivia really misses you!

I can tell he is LOVING it. I hate to see him grow up. Now you only have Brayden at home, aren't you loving it?

We have enough vanity; we need more virtue. We have enough popularity; we need more purity. "
