Cousin’s Caesar Creek

july 036

When Heather said we’d be going to Caesar's Creek, I was picturing, well, a creek. It was a lake, a very big lake.  I’m not much of a lake person, they kinda gross me out, but the boys didn’t seem to mind.  At first they were a little leery, especially when Colton put on his goggles and looked under water and saw how murky it was, but my boys are much more resilient then me and ventured in the water and had fun.  Rylan stayed in most the time, Colton had fun playing in the sand with his cousins.

Brayden took to the water and sand like a beach bum pro.

He was a little thrown off from the doggie poo left all over.  (I just had to pretend it didn’t exist and remember that showers would clean everything when we were done.)

I love the last picture of Brayden. He looks so big, yet so little compared to the lake.

We have enough vanity; we need more virtue. We have enough popularity; we need more purity. "
