Cousin Creativity (Visiting the Lytle’s)

july 028

On the first day of our family trip visiting the Lytle’s (My sister Heather’s family) in Ohio the kids got creative with chalk in the garage.

Somehow Colton found a one legged grasshopper nearby…

whom he named “Hoppy”…

and Gabriel proceeded to draw a hospital for “Hoppy” that he just hopped right out of despite Colton’s continuous efforts to him there, and then a house for him that he hopped out of as well, soon a whole metropolis was illustrated.

(Emrie contributed the feminine touch)

“Hoppy” finally found himself in a bug cage that accompanied us to the lake later on that day.

"Women of God can never be like women of the world. The world has enough women who are tough; we need women who are tender. There are enough women who are coarse; we need women who are kind. There are enough women who are rude; we need women who are refined. We have enough women of fame and fortune; we need more women of faith. We have enough greed; we need more goodness. We have enough vanity; we need more virtue. We have enough popularity; we need more purity. "
