The Portrait of Rylan Lincoln

Rylan 001

“Look Mommy, I drew myself!”

Rylan drew his first self-portrait.  I think he did a fantastic job—when I look at Rylan’s face, I smile, when I look at his self-portrait, I smile even more.  He even got the messy wavy hair correct.  Per his request, I am to keep this dry-erase board like this forever.  Maybe if I print out the photo, he will be satisfied with that reproduction.

"Women of God can never be like women of the world. The world has enough women who are tough; we need women who are tender. There are enough women who are coarse; we need women who are kind. There are enough women who are rude; we need women who are refined. We have enough women of fame and fortune; we need more women of faith. We have enough greed; we need more goodness. We have enough vanity; we need more virtue. We have enough popularity; we need more purity. "
