Kick. Pass. Goal.

2009-09-19 soccer practice
We signed Colton up with the YMCA soccer. His team was supposed to have their first game today but because of all the rain, the fields were too muddy.  So instead he had a first practice with Daddy.  He is really excited to play.  This is his first experience with team organized sports.  His uniform (not shown) is super-cool. Red, white, and black—Colton’s favorite colors.  Earlier today Pop took Colton shopping for cleats, shin guards and his own soccer ball.  Colton is a very teachable kid and catches on pretty good, he has very good foot coordination and speed.  Rylan of course had to be in on the action—he’s a natural with any ball.  He even has his own mini soccer ball. As Rylan was going around kicking the ball, he was chanting “BYU, BYU, BYU”.  Good thing he’s so dang cute.

Wow, they look great! I love Brayden's little noises in the background.

That is so great! I look forward to when Nathan will be able to do that with our kids, but I want to get out there too.

"Women of God can never be like women of the world. The world has enough women who are tough; we need women who are tender. There are enough women who are coarse; we need women who are kind. There are enough women who are rude; we need women who are refined. We have enough women of fame and fortune; we need more women of faith. We have enough greed; we need more goodness. We have enough vanity; we need more virtue. We have enough popularity; we need more purity. "
