Maybe (a short story)

On the evening of her twenty-second birthday, Ashley saw her ex-boyfriend standing in the doorway. He stepped forward and timidly wrapped his arms around her, and held her with such tenderness that Ashley momentarily forgot how she hated him for breaking her heart. (read more)
