Our Easter Experiences

Colton loved coloring the eggs. He approached it as a science experiment: trying to discover what kind of color combinations he could create.
He made an aqua colored egg, which is his favorite color. (He pronounces it akwaa).
Rylan didn't quite understand that he could just drop the egg in the cup of colorful water, so he held it in there the whole time. We got a pink egg and pink hands. This picture is even after a couple of washings!

Rylan really embraced the Easter Egg Hunt this year, he scurried all over the place and shook each egg he found. Colton stressed about getting a fair amount of eggs in the battle of the hunt, but in the end he did just fine, as evident in the basket full of eggs he's holding.

Here is a video of it all...

It's fun to see the excitement of kids on Easter when they find it amazing that an egg filled with candy would be hidden in the grass.
