Connelly's 25 Days of Christmas: Day Five

"Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow"

We woke up to a white wonderland. It was beautiful, and set the perfect mood for this Holiday.

We drove to a little forest closeby to slide down the hill (on our "bum-bums" since we had no sleds). It is by a bridge we call "The Lampost Bridge". Colton had fun for about ten minutes, before his hands started freezing (he had soaked his gloves before we even left the house). Rylan stayed asleep in the car, which was best because he is getting over an ear infection and cold.

Once we got in the car after the snow play, Colton said, "Let's go home, take a bath, and have some hot chocolate". We also have a fireplace that is insta-flame with a flip of the switch that Colton loves to turn on, so we pretty much have a fire going multiple times a day.

To see all the snow pictures we took, please visit the Connelly Photo Gallery link on the right.

His poor little hands must be so cold without any gloves!

There are enough women who are rude; we need women who are refined. We have enough women of fame and fortune; we need more women of faith. We have enough greed; we need more goodness. We have enough vanity; we need more virtue. We have enough popularity; we need more purity. "
