Halloween 2007

This is a late blog due to our travelling the last couple of weeks.
For Halloween we returned to Fort Worth so we could be with family. On all Hallow's eve Colton made cookies with Grandma and his "girlfriend" Olivia. On Halloween we went Trick or Treating with Grandma and Red Riding Hood (Aunt Summer). I was Marie Antoinette, the boys were supposed to be Batman and Robin, but there was a last minute costume meltdown and Colton changed to Spiderman. It was a perfect night. The neighborhood was bustling with kiddos, and the temperature was just right. I love having kids because it always me to be a kid again on Holidays. Unfortunately Daddy was away on business, but he called us while we trick or treated and we put him on speaker phone so he could here the adorable "Trick or Treat" and "Thank you" by Colton. Rylan just smiled at everyone. Is is just me, or does it seem like less chocolate is being given out nowadays?

"Women of God can never be like women of the world. The world has enough women who are tough; we need women who are tender. There are enough women who are coarse; we need women who are kind. There are enough women who are rude; we need women who are refined. We have enough women of fame and fortune; we need more women of faith. We have enough greed; we need more goodness. We have enough vanity; we need more virtue. We have enough popularity; we need more purity. "
