Anniversary Trip (Part three)

The Painted Ladies, Haight-Ashbury Street, Golden Gate Bridge, California Coast, Sonoma Wine Country

It was so cool to see all the sights and places I've heard of my whole life. As we would drive around San Francisco, I kept looking to see what I recognized from some of my favorite movies that were filmed in the city. It is such a city of history, character, and contrasts. I wasn't going to leave without seeing the famous "Wine Country". I knew we would not, of course, do any wine tasting, but we did find a little village off the road that offered chocolate tasting, fine cheese tasting, and olive oil tasting. We had lunch at an adorable cafe. The vinyards were full of fall colors. It was all such pretty scenery.

"Women of God can never be like women of the world. The world has enough women who are tough; we need women who are tender. There are enough women who are coarse; we need women who are kind. There are enough women who are rude; we need women who are refined. We have enough women of fame and fortune; we need more women of faith. We have enough greed; we need more goodness. We have enough vanity; we need more virtue. We have enough popularity; we need more purity. "
